Omnibus Spending Bill
March 9, 2022: The U.S. House of Representatives passed a $1.5 trillion omnibus spending bill. Pro-life provisions such as the Hyde, Helms, and Kemp-Kasten Amendments were preserved. Unfortunately, the bill also included hundreds of millions of funding for pro-abortion organizations.

Congressional Review Act - Joint Resolution
March 17, 2022: U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) along with 32 Republican Senators, introduced a joint resolution to restore the Trump Administration's ban on federal funding to entities that provide abortion referrals to pregnant mothers.

Confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson
April 7, 2022: Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed by the senate to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court left when Justice Breyer retired. She was confirmed by a vote of 53 to 47 with three Republicans, Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Mitt Romney of Utah crossing party lines voting with Democrats.
